PS5: Sony reveals first detail to coming next-gene

Already at the beginning of the last year Sony announced that one would work on the second generation of PlayStation VR. However, just a few pictures of the controllers, there were only few information about the new hardware. Now the company gave more details price — and then announced an exclusive PSV game in the Horizon Universe.

PlayStation: PS5-VR2 inclusive new VR controller announced

Technology continues to develop continuously and now the next VR generation for the PS5 console appears with the PlayStation VR2. The system builds according to PlayStation Senior Vice President Idea Fishing on the innovations of the PS5 and offers an experience with original graphic, new sensory functions and improved tracking.

The PS VR2 not only offers 4K HDR, a 110 degree field of view — especially the OLED display with a screen resolution of 2,000 x 2,040 pixels per eye and a refresh rate of 90/120 Hz jump out.

The headset has a new sensory function. A built-in engine should provide vibration that the sensations of the actions are enhanced in the game and bring you closer to the experience. So, for example, you can feel the increased pulse of the character in exciting moments or feel the thrust of a vehicle.

At the PS-VR2 Sense Controller PlayStation sets the success of the Sen sense Controller of the PlayStation 5. An combination of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers should enable you to experience games in a much more realistic manner and to interact with them.

Incidentally, the installation of the system should be particularly easy. It will only connected with a cable directly to the PS5 and already the VR experience can begin. When the VR2 appears, however, is not known yet. We'll keep you up to date.

In the same breath, Sony now announced a brand-new adventure in the world of Horizon, which appears exclusively on the PS VR2: Call of the Mountain. PlayStation designates the game as a unique experience that promotes the hardware technology, innovation and gameplay.

An official release date did not call the company yet — but we assume that the game will probably appear at the same time with the new VR hardware.
